I could have sworn that when I looked at it first, it didn't say that about the shipping. But, that's great. I think I'll check it out then.

I think the confusion is the the auction company "Auction Masters" does not ship. But the company whose stuff is being auctioned off (Beaver Bay) will do the shipping. I've bought stuff from several Beaver Bay auctions in the past. Just call the number given the next day, give them your shipping and credit card info and you are done! They'll give you an estimate of what size or how many boxes it will take on the phone, but until they pack it, it is only an estimate (I've never had it differ though) When you get you box(es) a credit card receipt will be in one of them. They only charge the actual flat rate cost. The items I've bought have always been well packed.
You do have to register on the Auction Masters site to get a bidding number. I remember when I first registered I think I either had trouble registering and had to call the auction masters people or else they called me after I registered. They saw that I was out of state and wanted to make sure I was aware that they don't ship. When I told them I was interested in the Beaver Bay auction, all was fine. So if you are not already registered with them, it would probably be a good idea to not wait until the last minute to do so.

The auction was good. Bought some stuff mostly spheres and rough lakers. It went fast if you wanted something on two different pages you had to pay close attention. They are shipping my rocks Monday. Some of the rocks went for very high prices, at least I thought they were high. The site still shows the winning prices.

Looks like they're doing this auction again. Link in the first post still works and things start closing on December 8th.
