This is a beginner's wrap and the curlies are hideous, but I like the stone! I am mostly just trying to see if I can post photos from flickr again; I could for a while then it didn't work. Nope, not working. Any tips? The image location is: www.flickr.com/photos/148159425@N04/30597217426/in/album-72157675838916075/Then I put [ img ] and [ /img ] around it, but I just get a broken link.

Sorry, can't help with the flickr link, but the stone is super nice and I like what you've done with the wrap. You've got the construction down.

Eh? For Flickr links From Flickr image click Share then BBCode Choose your size Copy the URL Back in RTH Click Insert Image Paste the link in Image URL: Edit it just to show the image URL thus: c3.staticflickr.com/6/5827/30597217426_5c9259d02f_z.jpgAdd an Alt text for good HTML Standards Easy does it...

The curlies aren't hideous but if you don't like them you can always cut them off flat like I sometimes do (shhh, it'll be our little secret...lol). Nice job on the wrap.

Thanks for the detailed instructions! I'll see if I can understand them with my next photo post. What is the "BBCode" and what URL do you copy if it is not the "copy link location" URL. I am not sure where the "Share" comes into it either. I've never seen that on flickr -- which is not to say it is not somewhere. I hate these "intuitive" interfaces. I guess I might just be too dense for photo-sharing on RTH....

When you view an image in Flickr, at the right hand side of the screen, there is an arrow pointing to the right (there's another points down). This is 'Share' BBCode is for Bulletin Boards (such as Rock Tumbling Hobby) to which you are going to post - it is just to identify which code type you need. A window opens with Share Embed BBCode. BBCode should be underlined. There is only one URL beginning [url=https//flic.kr ... and a drop down box for different sizes. You can change the size and the URL will change, but there is still only one visible URL at a time. HTH

Cool stone and wrap.
As far as pix, I use photobucket. Just keep at it. Eventually you'll have that "aha" moment and you'll be posting pix in abundance.
