Looks like nice solid material, not all muddy like some of it. Beautiful pieces!

Where is this from? It doesn't look like Australian. Mexico maybe?

AZ does produce some precious opal but most I've heard of comes in a blue base color. I'm most curious about the location. The matrix looks like Mexican Cantera opal but the opal itself is deposited differently. There's always something new to learn about opal.

looks like a nice piece of spencer opal to me I've cut a lot of Spencer opal and it doesn't look like any I've ever seen. I've found pink opalite (no POC) in the Spencer area but all of the T-egg opal from there I've seen is white to beige potch with thin layers of intense color -- triplet material. Could be Spencer -- I haven't seen everything -- but I have some doubts.
