I put it there because I am basically lazy. It's easier to post pictures there. It would be nice if Proboards would grow up and allow direct picture postings. I'll get pics transferred to photobucket sometime today.

I bought a chunk of silver ore from the Nipissing Mine in Cobalt, Ontario. If you want to try some before you buy a large piece, here's your chance. Slabbed it up today and will sell some at $.25 a gram. The pics show both sides of what I have left and how dirty it is to slab them. The thicknesses may vary on each slab between 3/16" and 5/16" as I free-handed the slabbing. US/PayPal only...shipping included on 50 grams or more. Give me an idea of what you want as far as thickness and I'll get it as close as I can. As usual for me, if you don't like what you get, send it back for a full refund including postage up to what I paid. silver

No pics, says "This album is empty" It would be nice if Proboards would grow up and allow direct picture postings. That would require hosting space provided by the board/forum. With all the pictures we post, I reckon that would be rather expensive. We host our own pictures and the forum remains low cost and free for all to join/use.

I don't do facebook, but don't they make a boatload of money with advertising? Think I read that they also datamine, kinda like Google mail. Probably make money off that as well. I don't go places that subject me to endless ads and/or spy on me. Maybe I'm wrong about all that? Plus, I consider Mark Zukerburg (spelling?) a giant d-bag, so I'm not adding a single cent to his fortune. Seems that onsite hosting here could easily have the cost covered by a yearly donation (fundraising) drive, but I don't think Mark wants to go there.
