I was on the F/B site,but it got boring with no posts and etc...I quit it last week.. I saw your quitting post. You need to join multiple groups. I think the Rock Hounds group has 50,000+ members. If you ever get banned from the group you can come join the "People Kicked From RockHounds Fir No Good Reason". Lapidary is a good one. Lapidary Rough Marketplace if you're looking for rough to buy is good. Rockhound Rebel Sales is another. Most everyone on here that's on FB are part of multiple groups |

Facebook is not free. If you don't pay, your posts are only seen by about 10% of your FB friends. Apparently a lot of people still don't know that & can't figure out why their family / friends never see their posts...
Many writers spend up to $500 a DAY on facebook ads. I don't know what other product sellers pay to promote their products but it can be five to six figures a year to effectively use FB ads.

Ha ha, that's great, but I have to assume the $500 a day crowd is selling more than the equivalent of 200 grams... I just ignore FB since I'm too small to buy ads & I've satisfied myself with my own tests that a chance of anyone seeing my posts are remote.
It's possible many of your sales came from RTH rather than FB. When I tracked my buyers on ebay, I discovered that my ebay buyers were actually from RTH, so I was paying and posting to eBay with no increase in customer sales / numbers. I was giving ebay credit but the truth was ebay wasn't doing a damn thing but taking a cut of sales to customers I could just as well sell to over here. That's just one person's experience though.
Eventually with FB, if you're not paying for ads, you're going to get caught and see a tremendous collapse in visiblity sooner or later. I've known WAY too many people it happened to. In fact, I'm pleased that somebody is still able to get away without paying in 2016 but you're in the minority as far as I know.
