My favorites are the second Dino bone, the coprolite and the last unknown agate.

Very nice cabs Donnie! The first and third unknown cabs look like graveyard point plume. The second one is probably Brazilian agate but the sample size is very small to tell for sure.

Very nice, as usual, Donnie. They are all great, esp the bone, but I love the blue of the blue quartz. I'm on a blue kick.

Wonderful set once again Donnie. Does anyone know if the blue quartz is natural or artificially colored? I have a slab I picked up yrs ago & really can't tell.

Thank you! As to the blue quartz being dyed or natural, I don't know myself. All I can tell you is I slabbed the rock. Don't know if that in itself particularly means anything.

I do believe there is a natural blue quartz somewhere in S. America. I wanna say Brazil.

I was thinking if it was slabbed, then it must be natural since I've heard dying rock doesn't penetrate all the way through.
Thanks Donnie!

I do believe there is a natural blue quartz somewhere in S. America. I wanna say Brazil. The Macauba region of Brazil has a blue quartzite. I'm saying Donny's piece is quartzite not quartz. And that from Macauba... BTW Google Azul Macauba to see some gorgeous countertops!!
