I had actually won one of his wet cutters. and the shipping was higher then the cost of the item, I asked him how much does it weigh that its costing 46.92 and he replied to me that its only 26 lbs.
I calculated the cost of shipping to be 16.92, 30.00 was his "handling" charge so i wrote back to him that i refuse to play 30.00 for him to go to the post office. and he replied, after he had sent the invoice mind you, that the shipping cost was a mistake and that it was only 27.75 still over 10 bucks higher then the actual shipping costs, i asked him to second chance offer it to the guy I outbid. I don't trust somone that has to be pressured into coming clean, and still tried to dig ito your pockets once they are caught with bogus numbers. I dug around some of his other actions and he seems to do it sometimes but not always and i guess people just suck it up, but i won't. If he wants to give me bad feed back i will just expose his little shipping scam.

i just went through the same thing with the astrogallery when the ebay invoice came it said like 67 bucks when i called him onit he sent a bill for like 91bucks then i said well before i bid i used the sipping cal;culater at the bottom of auction page and it said 25.10 can you please explain what the other charges are for when he sent next email he said thats a mistake just use what the ebay fig was so what i did was send what it said on the calculater for shipping whitch was the cheapest amount i got two lots of rock 50lb each so i sent 50.20 and he didnt say a word i think people just dont call these guys on there charges but like you said hell wit that ive had a box shiped from oregon 57lb of rocks was 37.00 shipping this guys in newyork couple hrs from me no way is it gonna be more thats the second guy i bought from in new york that tried to take me the first guy didnt like i got the item for starting bid he add extra shipping and tried to make me pay the paypal fee till i told him i was gonna report him to paypal and i did so he sent it right you know what they say buyer bewear or shame on you ahhahahaha ok seeya john
ill write him up on this page when i get the rock prob get a box of mud now after what james told me hahahahaha

John, I ordered 30# of rocks from Astrogallery. The shipping was $2.00 more than the rocks. They didn't add any additional shipping charges. In fact, I calculated the shipping charges myself and they charged me less than what I got when I calculated it.
The only thing I didn't like about it was that I was expecting small, tumbler size rocks - it was my first time to order rough. I was pretty surprised to open that box and see BIG rocks.
Don't know all kind of rocks they were - some agates I know but the rest are a mystery to me. There were/are some really nice ones. Got some in the tumbler right now. Still have at least three or four more to bust up.

hi all --just one more thing if anybody would like to see all the emails he sent along with the two that he tried to cheat me buy uping the shipping from 50.20 to 67.00 then when i called him on it he sent an email sayin it was 91.00 and when i asked for a breakdown on the shipping he said ohhh thats a mistake just pay the 67.00 i only sent 50.20 and if he wasent trying to beat me he woulda complained or held the shipment but as you all know i got it was trash but i got it he goin off his rocker i wouldnt waste a longdistance call on him after i lost so much allready hahahahaha hes delierous

that rock is a green tree agate - i got some from kingsley north.
i don't think i'll be buying any e-bay tumbling rocks based on what i've seen or supplies either. scarey!!!
