Howdy folks, Just a few more.....Mel Kind of ehh, sort of orby jasper and a Montana type Rio. Rio breccia. Pretty stuff. This one was just white with a few dots on the exterior, real busy inside. Closer look:

I like those random Montana looking Rio's. Totally different than everything else there.

Yeah, my personal feeling is that the Montana looking Rios come from up around Balmorhea ( Balmorhea Blue Agate-actually more black and white) or Marfa where the bouquet beds have tons of what we called Marfa Black and white. Many of the bouquet agates are plumeless and just banded chalcedony sometimes with a little black or white banding just like the pictured Rio example...Mel

The variety is always amazing with these Rio's. Wouldn't guessed that there might be a "Montana" look hiding in one.
