Always cute to look at, hold, cuddle and play with. Oh, and always the puppy breath! The squeezing SQUEALING, whining and crying? Yeah, I could do without that. But ya gotta take the bad with the good.

A dog that came to us already pregnant. But puppies leave an indelible mark on your soul. Some memories are forever.

Amazing how limited knowledge is regarding having pups. Veterinarians often avoid the process. There are some basic guidelines that make it easy. But pitfalls that will cause disaster.
My wife is the advisor for many. Walks many people thru birthing litters. Canine midwife. Not my hobby but have become quite knowledgeable myself as a helper.
Enjoy the pups, breath of fresh air(and puppy breath)

Cute video! I got a chuckle out of the little one in the corner all by itself looking confused at the commotion. That's the one I'd pick. I'm a sucker for the underdog.

Cute video! I got a chuckle out of the little one in the corner all by itself looking confused at the commotion. That's the one I'd pick. I'm a sucker for the underdog. In this breed the runt usually rules. Usually a scrapper and high in energy. Sharp of mind and agile in body. The big bullies pick on it and end up running across the floor screaming with the little alligator hanging on to it's tail or ear. Runt usually a female.

Two days down, another four to go. (re., Subject, "In another six days.") What happens then? Pups get to go outside? Make sure they are wearing their ear muffs, so they don't get too cold.

But, but... They still look like tiny puppies!!!
I realize most new owners like to get them at 6 weeks old, here in California they actually have a law on the books making it illegal to sell pups before they are 8 weeks old. I imagine those last two weeks would feel like forever, lol.
