see they know nothing will happen to them they are free to screw who ever they want ebay dont care as long as they get there cut. and if he didnt need to switch items why did i get diferent rock both times i bought from him and if he wasnt trying to cheet me why did i have to send two emails to get the right shipping price if he sells so much rock im sure he knows what the right rock looks like and what it cost to shipit am i right . and if he was gonna make good like he just said in the email he woulda didit a week and a half ago hahahahaha too much i would post the email i sent back but im not proad of some of the stuff i said back after reading this one from him hahahaha you guys have never met me but i think you can tell im not an angry person at all i just dont like bein screwed

i just went through the same thing with the astrogallery when the ebay invoice came it said like 67 bucks when i called him onit he uped the price higher and sent a bill for like 91bucks for shipping then i said well before i bid i used the shipping calculater at the bottom of auction page and it said 25.10 can you please explain what the other charges are for when he sent next email he said thats a mistake just use what the ebay fig was so what i did was send what it said on the calculater for shipping whitch was the cheapest amount i got two lots of rock 50lb each so i sent 50.20 and he didnt say a word i think people just dont call these guys on there charges but like you said hell wit that ive had a box shiped from oregon 57lb of rocks was 37.00 shipping this guys in newyork couple hrs from me no way is it gonna be more thats the second guy i bought from in new york that tried to take me the first guy didnt like i got the item for starting bid he add extra shipping and tried to make me pay the paypal fee till i told him i was gonna report him to paypal and i did so he sent it right you know what they say buyer bewear or shame on you ahhahahaha ok seeya john

ill write him up on this page when i get the rock prob get a box of mud now after what james told me hahahahaha

I ordered a 100 lb box of "bow-out" stone and a 20 lb box of agates from this guy a long time ago. At the time there was actually some good stuff in the mix. Half good, half pure crapola.

So a few months ago, I saw him selling 30 lb "end-cuts, ect..." lots and decided to buy 2 of them. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the same crap as in his 50, 100, 200 lots but its 10 times worse then his previous lots! THE BOXES ARE STILL HALF OPEN SITTING IN MY GARAGE! It worthless junk to say the least. What he does is send you a "good" batch the first time to get you to come back and then screws you the next time.

On top of that, he's an a**hole. If you dare complain about anything, he'll blow up and lash out like you saw in sandsmans post.

His whole avertising scam should have him banned fron ebay!

The problem with ebay is this. You may buy things there but your not ebays customer. The sellers pay all of ebay's bills. Powersellers generate a LOT of cash and ebay will protect them especially if they have a rating above 98% once it drops below 98%... then the seller looser his powerseller status.

Buyers however are not protected. 3 reports of failure to pay and your gone. doesn't matter if you have 100% and 10,000 purchases then get 3 non pays in a row and boom you're out of there.

I discovered a long time ago that if you are going to buy something sight unseen, such as on ebay, you really need to use a credit card. The reason being that if you are not happy with what you get, you can call your credit card company and file a dispute with them. When you get the cc bill with the item on it, you just call the cc company and ask them how you go about filing a dispute of the charge. They will ask the amount, what date, if it was a service or product, and why you are disputing the charge. All you have to tell them is that you did not get what you paid for. Once you file the dispute, the credit company will go after the merchant and get your money back. Sometimes it takes a few months, but you are not charged interest on that particular purchase. My cc company doesn't even demand payment for a charge I am disputing. That's really about the only way you can protect yourself from unscrupulous sellers on eBay or anywhere else.

I have my credit card as my source of funds at PayPal and when I pay someone it goes on my credit card. That way I always have a way to get my money back if some vendor screws me.

I have only had to file a dispute twice and neither time was it against an ebay seller. Guess I have been lucky because I have bought all sorts of stuff from ebay over the last few years.

This is totally off topic but just saw a report on CBS news of all the flooding around here. Just thought I would tell ya'll that's the area where I live! No pics of my immediate area, but our river is way out of the banks, over the bridges and low water crossings. Walked down to the river earlier and there are big chucks of the riverbank falling in the river. Be all sorts of cool fossils to be found when the river goes down and tons more flint!

Actually, If you really want to cause the guy grief, you could call your ISP and local police deparment and make a Huge stinky mess for him as its a crime to threaten bodily harm to somone VIA email and the fact he is in another state makes it a federal crime.

Hey John, I was just reading through some of this guys feedback, including what he has left for others, and apparently in New York street mugging has gone high tech. His attitude is, "Just shut up and hand over your money!". I also noticed that a very significant part his "business" seems to come from a very limited number of "customers" who are tickled to death with him. He probably isn't sending them the same "rock" that is listed either!

Customer concern: hi i bought these two lots of rock 50lb each the ship calculater at bottom of auction page said 25.10 for each box when i got the bill it said like 67.00 for shipping i emailed him he sent back email sayin it was 91.00 to ship item (i have all these emails if you would like to see them) when i insisted he explain the charges he sent back email sayin just pay the 67.00 i refused and sent him what the ship calculater said which was 50.20 for both he never said a word , but he sent rocks that in noway look like the one he showed in the auction no color just mostly brown rocks and wood and a few pieces of obsidian ( i have pics of what he showed and what i got )if you wanna see, so i sent a letter sayin i hated what he sent and felt like he screwed me , he said send it back then id be out another 50.20 which i dont have because im 100 percent disabled and on a fixed income so i waited for a reply got none so i sent a email tellin him just what i thought about h!
im cheatin me and sending trash rocks and trying to up the shipping price after i bought the item (twice) and i got back a email threatning me with physicle harm and told me to talk to my mother that way . i cant fig how this guy is held in honer as a power seller after what ive seen ,also the first item i bought from him was switched i didnt relize it till he screwed me with the 50lb lots i went back and looked and the rock is nowear near the same i also have all his emails and pics of that if you would like to see he bait and switched me twice and threatind me and he is 1 of your best sellers that dont make sence then he has the guts to give me bad feedback after he left good and say i was scum and tried to switch the rocks and send back this makes no sence to me i catch him cheating me and he gives me bad feed back something is not right here i know he makes ya money but how long do you think people will keep buying on your site when you keep letting this happen if you lo!
