I'll tell you what. ;D I've never more more exited! Talk about outstanding service! I ordered a new Thumlers Model B a few days ago and within hours they had it sent out. Today, only a few short days later, it arrived at my door! These guys are the best. They understand great service. On top of that, they responded in no time at all to my order and privided me a tracking number. But the best part about it, was the price. $127.95. I payed $179.99 for my last one at kingsleynorth. Man... If I only knew about them before I got my last two model B's. Buy with absolute 100% confidence! Thanks to everyone here who refered me to them. You were right. Next up in the new tumber... Apricot agate from africa. I waited 2 months for this stuff to come overseas. From my friend Gerdus Brönn at www.mineralgallery.co.za/

Hi Birdseed,
James got Gerdus' only batch of Apricot agates. I was also ogling over the agates, but James snapped them up before me.
Lucky for me, James had a few extras that he was willing to trade with me.
But, you are correct, there are fractures and pits. Most pieces are quite small, mostly around dime size with some as big as a quarter.
My apricot agates will most likely be used as aquarium rocks, with the larger specimens going to work so that I can show them off.

The agates were gone but I did order the tumbler and got some "handselected agates" from the african site..How do they deliver? They said something about the airport will call..Do I have to go to the airport to pick it up??

I ordered a tumbler from Kemph-Then it dawned on me that it probably is a high speed version(1/30HP motor 3000 RPM used for metal finishing-Makes sense from a gun shop..Anybody know? --Hope they take returns....

Birdseed,
I can't be much help on smaller orders from Gerdus, my order came by boat. It was somewhat of a hassle to deal with customs, the importing warehouse, and arranging shipping from New Jersey to California.
I thought the smaller orders came by parcel post. And, the shipment would be delivered by US Postal. So... it sounds like Gerdus is air freighting your shipment. Not sure how that all works.

CAL Got in touch with Gerdus-On a $64 order I will pay $70 for ground mail-I hope these agates are "superior" at that price--This Gerdus sounds like a nice guy...
