On my way back to Zapata. Let me know when you get on the road. I'll head up north just outside of Atlanta. WAY closer than Zapata! Heard somewhere that there are about a dozen large flat rate boxes of hand picked rocks from the Rio Grande area just sitting outside somewhere up there. May be able to hound some agatized coral in the same location if sources are correct. Wife would probably like it if I could pick up a puppy while in that area. naw... puppies are safe!

Must do extended trip to make up for the loss. I mean another extended trip. Lost count last time, 7 days extended to, uh, was it 19 or 20 ?

The way that camera takes photos I see no doubt in it taking magnified photos by adding good optics Jeremy. Just set up Google photos to back up your phone to the cloud. Then you can access them from your browser and edit them. The only downside is that you have to transfer them to Flickr or photobucket-of- force-fed-adver-spam.

Rick Share straight from phone to flickr using phone-USB cable. Share option is on phone in camera mode. flickr is a destination along with a dozen other sites listed on phone. Edit them right there in flickr using flickr's aviary. aviary is an option viewing photos in Photostream mode at lower right. Played with editing in flickr's aviary. It is slower than browser editor. Fine for a dozen photos. Perfect for photos already sent to flickr for adjustments. However skipping browser and going straight to host flickr saves time. High end Nikon DSLR under incandescent: S4 Samsung cell under fluorescent: Likely that most of the difference is incandescent brings out more colors near the red spectrum than the flourescent.

Jim- I went one better. I just did what you suggested without the USB cable. If you install the flickr app on your phone, it shows up as one of the options, no need to connect to anything with a cable. You just saved me a BOATLOAD of upload/download/upload.

I think you have to upload flickr app to your phone for it to show up as an option. Same with Tweeter FB and other apps. Yea, you can shoot photos straight to flickr via phone. Open PC and go to editing. Editing thru flickr on phone not so easy. Bought a new point and shoot. It has wifi and transfers straight to flickr via the wifi. Imagine all cameras will soon have wifi option. Makes sense hosting. Makes sense sending photos straight to host. No chance of loosing them on your personal drive storage. Makes it easy to use RTH since you have no choice but to use hosted photos. Better in all ways.
