He uses a dang cell phone. Figuring he had a $5000 Canon or Nikon. Yep, Jeremy takes those fine photos with a cell phone. Go figure.

PM'ed Garage Rocker and yes, Randy uses a nice Canon. To be expected, he is like a professional photographer.

I think Jeremy uses a Samsung S6, I have an S4. Just I just tried the S4 and holy cow. Photos look grand, but gotta learn to load them to computer to see how they look.
Auto white balance under incandescent looks bang on. Macro focus looks bang on. File size plenty big for cropping on phone screen anyway.
Those three functions about the most important.

Easiest way to get them on your computer is with the USB cord. - Once plugged in to the PC, go to your file directory and look for the Samsung Phone. you may have to enter your phone password for it to show up. - Open the phone file on the computer and look for the DCIM folder. - Open the DCIM folder and then open the CAMERA folder. - I set up folders on my hard drive that I simply drag the photos into. I use Photobucket, but do all my cropping & editing on my computer and then do a mass upload. Editing multiple shots in Photobucket is way too aggravating!

That avatar picture is just too small. I'm thinking I need to add this picture to all his threads henceforth. May need to replace that Dos Equis beer with a Corona. Denise want ya to grow a beard yet?

You are dead correct Jeremy. Watched U-tube and seen what you said.
Darn Mac keeps giving "unlock screen" on phone error message using 'Androidfiletransfer'. Screen on phone IS unlocked but Mac disagrees. Got a glitch.
Buddy gave me a program 'Sharefile'. Air sharing program. May try that app.
Aggravated as I see very nice photos on my one year old S4. I believe it has the same fin camera your S6 has. Rave reviews on the Android phone camera. Easy easy to use and compose with big screen(mine is a note).
I just look at your photos and do not want/need better, i.e. totally good enough. Don't believe cameras are good lest you spend a lot. Your phone photos proved that theory wrong. Lots of the world's finest technology goes into cell phones. Camera usage big part of cell ownership. Apparently the tech guys have attacked the cell camera. Digital receivers can perform miracles with the smallest of lens'.

Denise want ya to grow a beard yet? Denise really does not want to see that creation. She don't give a damn as long as I do the honey do's and bring home loot. You know the game. Now Corona is great beer. Light and easy to drink. May be one of the top beers sold. Ah, Check it out. Bud Light, 55.6 million hectoliters (hl) or 47.38 million barrels. Up from about 39 million barrels in 2005. Bud Light is America’s best-selling beer since 2001, with about 16% total market share, and only sold internationally in appreciative quantities in Sweden, Ireland, Colombia, Canada and Mexico. Budweiser, 43.4 million hl, or 36.98 million barrels. It ranks second to its lighter brother in the US along with Miller Lite, Corona Extra and Coors Lite. Skol (Brazil), 35.4 million hl; 30.16 million barrels. Few people expect Brazil to be a beer-drinking country, but its 200 million population consumes millions of barrels annually. Skol dominates the local market, Brahma sharing 20% and Antarctica 14%. Corona, 32.7 million hl; 27.86 million barrels. This is Mexico’s top beer, with Tecate and Dos Equis second and third. Tecate Light touts itself, however, as the local best selling light beer. Corona is also sold in the United States and 150 other countries.

Went to meeting of the new prospector's association we belong to. Stopped at a restaurant and had a sit-down Mexican dinner before the meeting. Good food, but the two Coronas we had to wash it down were $4.50 each!!! Nine bucks for two beers, over a third the price of the entire meal. Corona is good, but highly overrated if you are buying them singly, or anywhere other than Costco or something.
Don't care for Bud anything, gives me headaches. Silver bullets my beer of choice.
Like the new avatar, jamesp !

Yes, use the USB cord, simple! mrrockpicker has a Samsung On5, downloads to computer easy.

Wife unit is having a Christmas party at her work with a Mexican theme this year. Don't know why Mexican, but whatever. She volunteered to make the flower holder center pieces. This center piece is gonna be a Corona beer bottle with flowers in it. woo hoo? She put paint inside of the bottles - festive colors (?) So, she brought home 18 Corona beers to make the center pieces. I had a sip of one, knowing I detest this swill, and spit it out in the kitchen sink. Poured the remaining beers down the drain. Told her that this probably cleaned the drain pipes out nicely, and to expect a visit from the EPA for pouring a toxic substance into the waste water system. Any beer that ya have to put a lime in to make it semi-palatable ... *blech*

The way that camera takes photos I see no doubt in it taking magnified photos by adding good optics Jeremy.
