Ah Hell, we are all our own worse critics. I can't even see what you are complaining about. But, since you know it's there, it will push you next time. Haven't exactly lost my muse- just taking different directions. I haven't picked up a torch in a long time, but I have been feeling it lately.

I used to landscape a little when I owned a greenhouse. If you didn't want someone to see something in someones yard you didn't plant something right in front of it, you planted off the side so a persons eye went away from what you are trying to hide.
What I am getting at is thats a cool a$$ cabachon and no one is going to notice any flaws, nice job.

Hey thanks for pointing out the flaws . I'll have to take another look at it , all I saw the first look was a darn nice looking pendant . Nice work !

I know where you're coming from with all the errors and issues you describe.
That's because you're looking at it x 50 mag!
Sheesh you have a couple of electrons spinning asymmetrically there! What to do??!

Thank you all. But I did see the problems before I took the pic. However, like you say, the beautiful ammolite does draw your attention and that's the whole point, right?
BTW, I did my first show yesterday. Table cost $20, I sold a $15 piece. But it was slow for a lot of people there. They said it was usually much busier. This is a monthly, low key thing at a rock and mineral shop. Maybe 10 tables, some quite large. I did lose a sale because I didn't take credit cards. So one of the sellers taught me to get the Square and it's easy to use and works well. So, I'll try next month.
A question: I used a mix of cheaper jewelry and expensive jewelry. Do you think that's a good idea or should it be one or the other?

A question: I used a mix of cheaper jewelry and expensive jewelry. Do you think that's a good idea or should it be one or the other? Hi, it depends on the term 'mix'. I think a range of prices is good - it helps to achieve sales where someone likes your work but won't or can't stretch to the big ticket prices. I used the term 'range' purposefully. I would have the less expensive pieces towards the front where folk can get up close and personal with them and tactile as necessary. The more expensive pieces should be shown as a little more exclusive, less dense and fielded a bit more defensively to stop any wandering off. Centre-pieces...

The sterling necklaces and rings laid out nicely, close to me. The lower end items further away, in the front and sides. I was really paranoid about my silver walking away! Thanks for the advice.
