All summer long I spent gathering stones n I only found one of these. Not finding them online either is anyone familiar with diorite with epidote veins? flic.kr/p/NQCKuS

Thank you I'm starting to find out why I don't find anything online about my area or the gore range mountains. And on mindat I read the part on clear photos which made me feel sorry for the crummy pics I've been posting I'll get my pictures straight and clear from now on and I'll replace old fuzzy pics sorry. Also I got thumbs up to showing Id makes everything that much more credible. Thanks again MrMike

That's really cool to hear! What im usually finding is shistocity in the mica allowing the epidote to bleed through the stone turning the mica green. So when I saw clean epidote veins I had to ask why. Here's a picture of what I usually find the width of the stone is 8" thanks again glennz01 flic.kr/p/PUoKhQ

And I'm sorry I do find diorite just not with any epidote or chlorite. Here's a picture of a few chunks flic.kr/p/PdkQJS
