It's probably Mexican but I don't know from where. It's a large cab, about 35 x 40 mm. and was given to me as a slab. It has big sprays of sagenite that are much better defined in hand than in this image.

Can't help with ID, unless it is a laguna with sagenite, which I have had before. It's a gorgeous cab!

rockjunquie , Thanks. Laguna w/sagenite is my best guess too. But the Mex. localities are so complex I don't know for sure. @shotgunner : definitely not marcasite. The sagenite appears whitish in the image but IRL it's blackish with minor white where it reaches the surface. I've cut plenty of Nipomo marcasite and if the eyes don't ID it the smell and black fingers will Pat , thanks. It goes into the "keeper" case.
