If they are the same ones that deal with GemsUSA check page two of this site.

I already know about gemsusa I think from your advice Brett. Thanks for the heads up about them too. But what makes you think they deal with them?

I had a bad experience with them. I saw their low prices and order a tumbler from facetIt. I just got their immediate auto-reply confirmation of the order. When I tried to inquire about my order I received no reply from them. I wrote several emails to them (facetIt is a branch of GemsUSA, same thing) with no response. Finally I really got tired and wrote them an email with a link to this site andy321.proboards16.com/index.cgi?board=Vendors&action=display&thread=1081186566and told them to cancel my order. Somehow my email caused a miracle, and they finally wrote back to me (2 times), telling me that my order was ready to be sent, but that they cancelled it because I had requested it. They were very concerned about the negative postings in here. That was the end of it. I actually don't know why they have that website, it gives me the impresion that they don't really want or have the need to sell. I really hate to do this type of review, but it is just the truth.

I bought a Lortone 33-b from these folks about a year and half ago and the service was fine.
Not sure what has happened since then, but it sounds like their service has gone way down.
Maybe posting neutral to negative posts here in the message board will get them to improve service?

Hmmm... well i guess its sounds like paying a few extra bucks for spare barrels at the rockshed is worth it for the service. Its sounds like I would eventually get them it I ordered from facetit, but it also sounds like just too much trouble.

I've never delt with anyone as bad as these people. They tried to stick me with shipping bill for a saw that I cancelled before they sent it. They just didn't bother to e-mail me back. I finially had to call them on the phone and talk to they guy in charge. The bill for shipping a lortone 12" slab saw was going to be over $100.00. Then because they had to send it hack it was going to cost another $100.00. I told them that I cancelled about 3 weeks before they shipped it. So they finially sent my money back for the saw 5 weeks later from the day I maile it to them and didn't have to pay for the shipping
