I've been searching for wire suppliers. I found this one on the net and wondered if anyone has used them. Or, if you have suggestions as to where to get wire at a fairly reasonable price. (Will stick with gold-filled for awhile I'd say!) ;D I think I'd like to try several different wire styles (square or maybe beaded?) www.myrontoback.com/46.htmlwww.myrontoback.com/47.htmlI'm pretty frustrated with using 22 gauge wire. (It's galvanized picture hanging wire) Seems exceptionally difficult to work with and I have a feeling I should just go to using real wire-wrapping wire instead. I have quite a few double terminated crystals I'd like to wire-wrap. (Though need to polish them first...not sure if I should get a vib lap or not) Here's a "How-to" for wrapping crystals. I did one with the galvanized wire, with a few modifications, but I think I'm ready to try it with a lighter gauge wire, but better quality material. (Also, my crystals are smaller and daintier than the one in their how-to, I think the 20 gauge wire looks obnoxious on mine.) wire-sculpture.com/patterns.php?item=115&id=free&detail=1Thanks to all for your help!

Thanks Rocky! Now I know a bit more of what to expect. Will try them! (No prices on the other site!) I kinda have weak hands....what's a good size to start with you think? (already have a blister from making one silly wirewrapped crystal!)

Hi Emerald, Here's a site with good information, it's all about wire-wrapping, including how to hold the equipment. Check out the education page. www.conniefox.com/[glow=red,2,300] ~ Cher ~[/glow]

Tobak is one of my suppliers. I have never had a bad order. They also purchase scrap. I highly reccomend Myrontobak.
