hello everyone or anyone who cares to read this? jumped head first into this cabbing stuff after see everones cabbing and countless you tube videos i decided to try it with my new to me old equipment i got this summer. started out with a freeform plume agate piece ,took me forever then i was instantly hooked! went cab happy and cut a few more they are far from shinny!!!!!! but considering i only used the HP B-12 unit i got pretty much as is they didn't come out to bad i thought? any advice would be welcomed, thanks for looking.sorry for the cell phone pictures thats all i have at the time does nothing for the true colors of this material.
the plume aget 2nd from the left is the first one i cabbed .
a few more some barricaded jasper? ohyhee and some crazy lace i think?
and a few more a small marra mamba some calieco a small willow creek i belive .some nice plume agates i do not know a teepee bute i think next to the red one?
a group picture the ones on the dabbs i cabbed on the stick, the ones on the trey where cabbed in hand,
the black and white one is a piece of either graveyard or apache plume agate if im wrong please let me know alot of this stuff is new to me .
i cabbed this out of a small end cut i found in a bucket from the howe collection i found this summer. i think it is a teepee bute agate please correct me if im wrong.the redish area looks like hemitite i took a close look at it with my 16x eye loop,
these two red plume agates cabbs came from one shall rock that i cut . i got four really nice pieces out of it. well thats all i got for now after giving it a go with that first plume agate i think it is a bloddybasin again correct me if i am wrong, i couldnt get enough of it tried out several other types of material i am so greatful i am able to practice with such terrific material. it really encouraged me to try that much harder to do good i am pleased with the resaults so far considering the machine i used is older then me! and these cabbs are only prepolished to 400 grit, again sorry for the crummy photos hope you liked them.
