For those in my neck of the woods that can't afford shipping from the US, just bought my QT66 from Ken's Gems - very good pricing - $238 Canadian www.kengem.comI shop a lot at Green's lapidary as well for good selection of rough rock, tumbling grits and Lortone parts. Green's sells grit in bulk. Also, the people are very helpful there. When I had trouble with my 33B, they watched it run for a few days to help spot the problem (it needed more oil). www.greenslapidary.com

I ordered my grit from Green's.
I called them on phone about it one day and the fellow was so helpfull, and they shipped it off right away in the mail to me.
The shipping was a bit much, but that is not there fault, canada post sucks. I live in BC.

They are really nice in person, too. I could stay in there store for days and polish rocks with my drool alone.

Hi - I am new at rock tumbling. Anyone knows of vendors in the Ottawa area. The only place I know of to buy my grit is Dowd and I find their prices a bit steep. Example: I paid $9.95 for 1 lb of 220....
