I have been told you can make dry polish for vibrating tumbling using ground corncob, carnuba wax, and aluminum oxide polish. Can anyone give me directions on how to do this?

I use corncob and polish in a Lot-O for the soft stuff. Interested to hear how the carnuba works into the equation...

After several attempts at finding the right "recipe" Im giving up on the carnuba wax. Just clumps up the corncob and can't get more than a "matte" shine. Just for kicks I hand buffed a couple of banded cherts...it did help some but not worth the labor involved. Until I can get ahold of some vibra-dry Im back to wet polishing.
