My son has been taking a riker case of pieces to work with him. He's sold a number of pieces there. He wanted some cheaper pieces to go with the higher end ones, so I did these. I might put the sugilite and sonoran rhyolite in my shop, though. Sorry for the quickie pictures. Plasma agate in bronze pietersite in copper - sorry - the piece was tilted a little, but I didn't notice. raspberry aventurine- much much prettier in person. I think my granddaughter is gonna nab this one. Parrot wing in copper Sonoran dendritic rhyolite in bronze sugilite in silver Thanks for looking!

Ok, those may not all be done in silver, but nothing says cheap about them. All beautiful work. I see those, all tidy and creative and I can't bring myself to sit down and put in the time to get there. I find it difficult to voluntarily go through the frustration. Props to you and the others on here that have mastered the wire.

All beautiful! Garage Rocker, maybe we need to start a "frustrated wire wrapper" support group.

All great Tela but the dendritic rhyolite is a stand-out for me. Hope your son does well with them -- he should!

All beautiful! Garage Rocker , maybe we need to start a "frustrated wire wrapper" support group. A bunch of guys sitting around with their bag of miniature pliers, complaining about mangled wire and large hands? Sign me up!!!
Sure enough, in the awkward opening moments of the meeting, someone is gonna ask "How bout them Bears?"

One of these days I'll get back on that horse. Let ya know how it goes. Thx!

All are beautiful , but I think you forgot the cheaper ones . Very nice work The stones are cheaper than the other ones. He's got some really nice rhodochrosite, ammolite, turquoise and koroit to name a few. So, these are obviously less, but thank you for the comment.

Thx! I recommend 3ea 1/2 Oz shots of a fine bourbon in the hour before you start. Spread it out. The relaxation will bring focus and patience. Not kidding. After 90 minutes the maintenance does is 1/2 Oz every 30 minutes. I once won a horseshoes tournament using this method. The match ended after I threw at least a dozen ringers in a row.

Sugilite is cheaper? Yeah, it's a low grade sugilite that I bought from a cheap dealer. I always pick up a bargain when I see one. That one will probably go in my shop, though. That and the rhyolite, because of the tree.

It also doubles as the dining table and the home hub.
