Hello everyone! A few years ago I joined this forum to learn about rock tumbling and rocks in general because I wanted to share it with my second grade class. We were learning Earth Science and talking about types of rocks and fossils. You all came to my rescue with lots of tips AND you sent me boxes of rocks to share with my students. I just want to say again how much I appreciate this forum and your generosity with time and materials. By now around 200 students have been able to experience the joys of rock tumbling and learning about geology because of YOU. So, thank you. I hope I am able to attach a few photos including some of the specimens you sent me along with some of my kids absolutely fascinated with a variety of rough rocks.     |

How did you attempt to get them here? Photos have to be put on a host site, i.e. Photobucket or Flickr, then transferred [copy and paste] to the forum using the "insert image" button that comes up after hitting the "reply" button on the right side of the bar above here, rather than "quick reply".

You need to put the photos on a hosting site like Flickr then if using Flickr hit the share button then the BBCode. Copy that and post it in your post and the pics will appear when you post the post.

OK, so what did I do wrong with the photos? Download the app Tapatalk and add this forum to it. Adding pictures is as easy as pushing a button at the bottom! Here's a screen shot.  |
