The picture didn't post. #1 You have to get an account on a image hosting site- like photobucket or flickr Then you have to upload an image then find the right code to post then find the pictures icon -- above your post field on the right then post the code into that box to show the picture I know it is a pain to do. I have think lepidolite ? The specific gravity of Lepidolite at 2.8-2.9 should be distinguishable from Quartz at 2.65

This I do not know, I'm sorry Google it. And test your rocks. We cannot identify random river rocks from pictures reliably. But if you ask about a mohs 2-4 stone (lepidolite) then you should be bale to scratch it with A piece of glass. Scratch tests. Acid tests. Specific Gravity. So do yourself a favor and learn how to identify stones on your own by doing some simple tests. Then once you have some data, share the data here and we can help you sort it out.
