Chris, John is right. That saw does look alot like our 7". You could probably save a few (or several) bucks by getting one at Home Depot. Llana and I really like ours, even though we usually try to overwork it!

True Value has a sale on tile saws, like the one at Inland Lapidary, right now for $100.00. Tami

Ralph, that saw looks like the saw Cookie got - and has already burned up the motor. Not just once, but twice. I would be hesitant about buying it. I know there is NO WAY Cookie worked that saw a bit harder than BE and I worked ours when we first got it. We dulled a number of blades real fast, but never had a lick of problem with the motor. I just don't think Cookie abused her saw enough to burn up the motor TWICE. I think it has a shoddy motor or something. Ours cuts like a champ. It'a a Workforce 7" tile saw and we have worked that sucker! llana

For what it is worth, I bought one of the Inland saws, and it works GREAT on my agates... It is definitely NOT the 7" china saw that Home Depot sells. I passed on that saw a couple months ago. This one was made specifically for glass and rock trimming as far as I can surmise from their literature.
They shipped my order in 24 hours. I had a couple questions when I got it, and their Tech guy took care of my e-mailed questions over night. Now, I am saving for one of their band saws so I can cut ovals and other curves.
This saw actually cuts faster than the DP Wizard that my club owns. I think it cost $600, too!

Just as a follow up... I bought a couple new thinner blades for this Inland saw (.012") and it cuts even quicker than before. I didn't expect that to be possible! Ordered Sunday, shipped Monday.
