I've seen folks post threads in the for sale section where they run the sale as an auction. I prefer a fixed price, call dibs and it's yours sale, but you may certainly post your stuff as an auction if you care to.

Yeah, what he said. I think Tommy was thinking about doing sales a little differently, but I don't think anything is concrete. In the meantime- we do have the sales section. I prefer auctions- btw. I'm on the east coast and usually lose any chance at grabbing anything.

Well one of my goals (without having specifics to provide) will be to enact minor changes that allow the board to be more attractive to the folks who have abandoned forums in favor of Facebook. Just a tweak here and there - again nothing specific. After informally studying it for a while I've noticed that on the various "slabs and cabs and rough" type facebook groups there can be thousands of members but there is a core group of bidders - maybe less than 20 - who do most of the bidding and buying. It moves and shifts but the core group of names always seem to resurface. In my opinion RTH can do more to be more attractive to buyers and sellers alike - again without specifics or feeling strongly about it. I'm not ready for a debate about it I get a lot of ideas - some are good, some are not, and some just aren't ready for prime time
