I just purchased a used Texas Rocks gem trim 4" saw. Previous owner said blade doesn't have much life left. I just plan to use it to trim down rocks to tumble if they need it. What is a decent blade for this task. I've seen continuous, segmented, turbo, cyclone mesh. What's a dependable brand name?

A cheap tile saw blade that is rated for granite works good and cheap

That's the path I was looking at. I figured just a good general purpose blade would do what I needed but I didn't know if I need something special. Thank you for your reply.

The most important consideration is to make sure the arbor size of the blade will work with your saw. Bushings are available but not always provided with the blade.

I was thinking about that too. Saw won't be mailed until Monday so I'll probably have to wait until it's delivered to check on that. You all now how it is when you start something new, you can't wait to play with a new toy. Lol.
