I am new to the forum and would like to start off by saying hello!
I have been collecting a few rocks here and there for a little over a year. I got a rock tumbler for Christmas and I have been having fun with it. Working on my first batch of rocks right now.
I get out in the stream near me as much as I can and pick up a little bit of whatever catches my eye. I try to find at least one nice agate everytime I go out.
Last weekend I found my first piece of petrified wood and a nice agate. I figured I'd share a picture. I'll tumble the agate in my next batch but I'm not sure if I want to tumble the wood yet. What are your thoughts?
