Does anyone have any idea who might be able to work on this tumbler? One of the knobs that turn one side of it is bad. I got a new one and tried to replace it myself. Well, after disconnecting the wires I can't get that back to work right. What kind of a place would work on this? All the electric places are auto or small motor repair and no one seems to be able to help me with this. Help please.

What about an appliance repair place, the ones that fix washers and toasters ?

Could you fashion a new knob with thermoplastic?
Could you post a photo of the problem showing where it is? I have the single version of this tumbler, and I cannot picture "knob that turns one side of it".

It 's a 2-barrel version Pat . The 2 operate independently from separate switches. I've had one like it for years but have no idea who could work on it except Diamond Pacific. jamesp has fiddled with the innards of a larger one; maybe he can help out. Otherwise, a call to DP might be in order.

Did you ever find a way to repair it? I have a MT-10 Mini Sonic and the knob on the right went out.
All the best, Michael

I had the now discontinued 2.5 lb. mini sonic and tweaked it to perform better. It broke the wire off a diode inside. I live close to DP so took it in and confessed to what I did. They replaced the diode, rubber foot bumpers and generally reconditioned it at no charge. It was at least 3 years old. I sold a used MT4 to a customer with an old style drum. The latch broke and he caled me. I called DP to order a new latch and they sent customer a new style latch and pop rivets at no charge. I think I'm advising you to contact Diamond Pacific.

I would suggest contacting Diamond Pacific too. Especially if it has a possibly defective diode.
