I just got off the phone with Miles Supply in Georgia. There Tin Oxide is now $15.00 a pound. That is alot higher than last years price. They said they had to raise the price. I use there A-8 Aluminum Oxide which is 1000 grit. It cost .59 per pound. There 60-90 right now cost $29.79 for a 50lbs. bag. They don't carry Cerium Oxide.

I just ordered 50# and they are the best price around, that I know of and I didn't think 15 bucks a pound for Tin Oxide is bad price at all. Any idea how much you have to buy at a shot?

I think you can buy it by the pound. What I found out that if you want to buy the tin oxide it is better to buy it from the Georgia plant. The other two plants charge $21.50 per pound. I called the Georgia plant and asked them why the price diff. and they had no clue. I thought it was a little high because last year it was only around $9.00 a pound.
