I recently had a drive belt problem with my Lortone QT12. The belt was slipping and I had the belt adjustment out all the way. I emailed Lortone just telling them of my problem and asking if they had any suggestions or solutions. Of course, the problem was with me...(duh...) I had oiled the drive bushings/bearing and the motor and I must have accidentally gotten a little oil on either the belt or pulleys...(thanks to sandsman who suggested that might be the problem)...but getting back to Lortone, they emailed me back and said they would send me a new belt (free of charge) to see if that would work. Sounds as though they stand behind their product and want to see satisfied customers. That works for me and says a lot about Lortone. Thought you would want to know.
