I ordered a little over 6 pounds of stone - it's what they call Souris agate (Moss agate, not green, some light and red tinted agate, some would call it a type of Carnellian, Some plume agate, some lined or banded agate, some polka doted agate, some agates with crystals) and they had put in almost a pound of pet wood in there too (some pretty nice specimens). Now I don't think I can identify all of them, but from pictures I've seen on goggleimages.com some look pretty close to those. They're all smoothed out which surprised me (not jagged edged or shardy (can that be a new word?))
I paid by cheque and once my cheque cleared I got the order within 5 working days. I split some up last night (no 40 whacks needed this time on most of them) and they're pretty nice - can't wait to see them tumbled.
The guy there was very helpful and patient and he, himself, selected the stones for me and answered all my million questions by email or phone. They're in Souris Manitoba and it cost me about $9.00 Cdn for shipping. - $30.00 total for order & shipping about $4.00/lb
