Tricky place for Celtic knot. Good looking ring. Crop and focus photos. Eyes going crazy! : )

I can't see it too well, but from what I can see, I like it. The knot detail is cool.

The knot adds a nice detail. What's the size of the stone?

The knot adds a nice detail. What's the size of the stone? Aprox 12mm x 12mm. The photo learning curve. Focus, crop, include object for size reference. Check

It is a cast ring shank from Rio Grande. they are only a size 6, but I just add a piece in to make the size I need. They are like 6 or 7 bucks. If you look at the back of the shank you can see the solder joint. Vic

Are you using a filter on those photos? It looks like watercolor filter on Photoshop.

No that is what the stone looks like in person. I am a poor mechanic, but could not resist buying a few small pieces at our show last year. Vic

Photos are much better. I think garage rocker was asking because it looks like they were possibly digitally zoomed. The detail is a tad washed out.
You said this is a cast blank. Did you file down the bezel or was it made that thin? I've used a few cast ring blanks and the bezel was very thick.

Just the shank was cast. The bezel is small step bezel.

It looks like compression artifacts. Lynn What is compression artifacts? Vic Nevermind. LOL Now I am looking at the pics on a monitor instead of my phone I can see what you all are talking about. Will keep trying. I am glad cutting stones and silver work are easier that posting photos to a forum. I would have given up the hobby long ago. Vic
