Some beautiful pieces there!
I think it is photo 4 that I don't recognize. It has striped gray bones? across the middle.
I agree, the jewelry is lovely.
I love the shows!!
Thanks'

melhill1659 Nice finds. Whoever did those wraps did a good job. Small wraps are hard to do and rings are not easy either. I have made two rings for my wife and she would like more but I don't like making them as much as wrapping pendants..............................MrP

Looks like a fun time, liking the purchases. Atlanta has some decent sized shows. Darn western folks have the real rock shows.

He had a very large display area and his work really caught my eye as well with all his tiny pieces. Those pendants I pictured are on a bracelet! I'm a small woman an I love the smaller ones. I've got some honing to do!

That's a nice batch o' rock you brought home. Looks like you have some nice material to work with - should keep ya out of trouble for awhile. I like your silver lace and is that a chunk of Pietersite rough there? Looking forward to seeing what you do with everything.
Also do like your wraps. They look elegant.

I was excited about the pietersite too! I got to pick that out as a thank you because I helped the couple I bought my slabs from actually move all of their stuff in. They wouldn't part with any of their Bigg's Jasper 😂 an it was to pricey for me. Our small G&M society actually put on this event. I was doing my best southern hospitality duties! Turns out the wife Lisa is president over South Eastern Mineral Federation! I'm sure I have that all screwed up but something like that. I fell in love with the silver lace! Lisa and Collis were so nice.

TROUBLE Capt'n I'm an angle! I'm even on my way to escort/help 3 older ladies rockhound today. Just don't tell them I have a few beers tucked away at the bottom of my cooler 😇😂 it's 85 degrees today!

Great scores!
Looks like you got some of that new nellite/neolite/golden skies pietersite. It comes from near the pietersite mines. It is technically pietersite but because it looks so different, they call it something else. (picture #5)

I think your spotless shop may get messy. You have a great deal of work ahead of you. Nice show coverage and slabs.
Darryl.

Whooo what a weekend. Our small show had only 30 venders but it was a success. There are always a few booths that you wonder why they're there. But anyway this is the goodies I brought home! Congrats on a good show. This piece is bad to the bone! I did a double-take before I realized it was waterlines. I'd love to see another photo or two of it if you feel like it.

Found it a few months ago and get this... it's in Georgia!!!!
