First off, tumbling metals makes tons of gas. So the zero pressure slant tumbler. This an old Viking. We experimented with different methods. Most runs last 2-6 hours. The slant tumbler is a good design for small batches and short runs. She tumbles lamp parts to make them look old/vintage. One inch chunks of aluminum oxide grinding wheels makes a nice finish. In some cases to assist paint bonding. Sometimes tumbling off galvanization to provoke rust. Sometimes #4 grit almandine garnets are used for abrasive.

Wow, neat stuff. There's a sign I'm VERY tempted by. I reload and shoot, and the "lead" sign would look great in the garage. Dave

If she sells a fire pit planter, who gets credit for it?

If she sells a fire pit planter, who gets credit for it? Sour subject. I outsold her planter 200:1 last year. She can have all planter revenue(one planter hahahahaha). I actually sold fire pits as planters more so than she did. OMG, don't ask her that question... However, due to poor national weather for fire pit use in the past 2 weeks she has almost exceeded my revenue for the past two weeks. Rubbing it in. For 8 of the past 10 years she has kicked my azz on Etsy revenue. Rubs it in EVERY year. In the past 2 years I have stomped her and she has become my humble slave girl. Basically an employ whom has to subordinate to my every whim. Thinking about switching over from a leather leash to a chain leash.

Seems like your wife may need a voice here. "Jim, quit messing with my tumbler!"

Seems like your wife may need a voice here. "Jim, quit messing with my tumbler!" I figured 'the other gender' may have a retort to my 'wishful' masochist comment. Thankfully she does not read RTH ha ha. Perhaps you could consider a blackmail situation... "Jim, quit messing with my tumbler!" Messing with or improving ? I am so pumped to be able to polish 3 big rocks at time. Thinking an 'attaboy' is due. I love my Vibrasonic and thank you for the heads up on the listing. I dropped everything to run up to the northside to purchase it that day. Left 3 deer hunters staying at the house. They were perplexed about my emergency. They don't get tumbling.

I went in to buy the sign with PayPal. Etsy wants me to establish an account. Not really excited about doing that just to make a purchase. Dave

She may have an email on her Etsy shop page that would allow a paypal transaction. I don't make any suggestions to that woman. I would think she has her email posted there.
