Here's a link to my tumblr. I enhanced the color of the photos to show the best color without making the color look unreal. The slabs are all from local KY rocks. The photos ya'll wanna view are from March 8th, 2017, yesterday. magicalrocksandminerals.tumblr.com/Might update my tumblr later on today, or tomorrow, so ya'll can view better shots.

Updated my tumblr page. I hope ya'll like what you see. Wish I could post pictures directly to the board, but maybe this way is easier for you guys. Tumblr is completely safe, right?
I'm always in need of someone to cut some rocks. Alas, I also need to sell about half my stock, that's gonna be a challenge.

I love jaspers hint hint lol I never hunted directly on the Green River, maybe on one of its forks south of Stanford. I wish I could go with a geode hunting party some time, mainly hunt alone. What did you mean by beekite covered geodes? Never heard of beekite before. It's quite difficult to find agate out that way on the Green River. Botryoidal white druzy with or without iron oxide is the most common occurrence within geodes over there, then there's quartz of all different hues, except for blue. You can also find solid nodules of quartz in different hues, you find calcite and dolomite in the geodes as well as pyrite(never seen pyrite in any geodes I've collected, sadly). Then there are geodes with solid chalcedony and the geodes with botryoidal chalcedony that sometimes develop into Kentucky agate, given enough accumulation of silica. Here's something I found out in Lincoln county just yesterday. This is the only good picture I could take of the monster. Maybe 3-4'' wide, maybe 6'' across. Definitely can see yellow and white/clear banding in there. Too bad I got tons of slabs already sitting around. Gotta' take care of those slabs before I hire someone to cut more rocks.

The geodes have a chalcedony coating on them that looks like ringworm really lol. I will post pics for you to see. I never found anything like what you got that is for certain.

I get you now, I have seen chalcedony coating on limestone before locally and on rhyolite from southern CA. That coating can take a shine...
