Howdy Ho Folks, I'm back w/ another great box of eggs from a collection that spanned over 30 years. Great variety in this box, and even bigger than the last one, which was 28 pounds, this one comes in @ a whopping 28 pounds 10 oz. (including strapping tape). Sorry I can't provide I.D.'s, but once cut, some of the Pro's in here might be of assistance. So here we go, starting w/ the original packing, before additions We'll follow w/ a few family groups that aren't necessarily related by blood... These were a few open or exposed eggs (not shy). Like the box that sold before it, I had some voids that whole eggs would not fit in, so I've included some cut eggs to pack it tight. A few full frontal, shown water wet (OOOH, Baby!) This AMAZING collection of Thundereggs can be delivered to you doorstep for only $85, shipping to lower 48 included. All you need to do now it post "MINE" on this thread, then P.M. me your shipping addy, and I'll respond w/ my Paypal addy, you pay and zoom, zoom you could be opening this treasure chest by the weekend. Thanks for Looking!

You don't need to be a rockhound to appreciate the beauty in these Thundereggs- after all, it IS Oregon's State Rock. Cut and polished, these make lovely gifts for most anyone.

Hi there. I don't know much about thundereggs. What's the difference between the contents of the $85 boxes and the ones you sold a couple weeks ago for $60 and $45? Quality or rarity?

Stupidity mostly. I previously had no idea what they go for, but upon consulting an expert, discovered that I was shooting myself in the foot. Going rate is $2-$3/lb. So w/ shipping the price range would be $70-$98, based on a 28lb. box. I split the diff in my new pricing. I might have 1 box left after this one, after that they are GONE! Thanks for your question, ubermenehune

Hi there. I don't know much about thundereggs. What's the difference between the contents of the $85 boxes and the ones you sold a couple weeks ago for $60 and $45? Quality or rarity? richardsons rock ranch charges 1 dollar a pound for the self picked unopened thundereggs. that being said many of us live nowhere near Oregon. I was happy with my purchase at 60. I don't make jewelery or have an esty shop ect to recoup the investment. I bought them out of pure curiosity of what will be inside once I cut them. 85 would have been a little rich for my budget. although some others may cut 1 nicely solid agatized 1 and recoup the price of the whole box with 1 nice cab. so I'm glad he started low and worked up to see what the market would bear(I certainly benifitted) . obviously the price was not to high as someone bought it and the last box sight unseen. I would much rather that he post a sale at a lower price and work up too see what they are worth than to see a posting for a ridiculous price that will never sell. plus the first 2 boxes sold fast a good indicator they were below value. ps. when asked he was honest and didn't claim higher quality or rarity.

Lots of doubles and I see a few triples in the box too....The prices change when these factors are included.... Also remember low prices, yes are great, but add your fuel, hotel costs, meals, plus time away...(Hounding eggs) When I see a great deal,(online)I buy it up,no questions asked...... Cut an egg,it doubles in price (Sometimes more)....You slab them for cabs, your even making more money per stone.. Factor in the work, what you want them for and the big plus, make the rock work for you,always....

Thanks for the info. Are doubles & triples more or less desirable? I have a few thunder eggs that are lumped together in clusters.
