Custom lap grinder - $1000 (thoughts?)

This is a custom made and extremely heavily constructed 18" grinding station for lapidary and art glass work. It's about 17 years old, had 4 years of production use, but runs very well. Stainless steel splash pan. Anodized aluminum top deck with slots for a faceting machine (setup for Ultra--tec), heavy steel body.

This was made for me personally by John Rowland, who now owns Highland Park Lapidary. This includes an extra arbor assembly and some used disks. It needs a bit of cleanup, but it's fully functional. I paid $6000 to have this made. This machine will last a lifetime with proper care.
