Club show was last weekend. I love it! Here are some goodies I brought home. Enjoy! The thin sticks are going to be accent pieces. The bigger pietersites are going to be the main focus of pendants. 1- Eye Agate: about 1" across fullsizeoutput_158c by Pat, on Flickr 2- Tiger iron. Pat, #10 is a nautilus fossil. AMMONITE I have several of them, have not got around to wrapping them, although that had been the plan.
toiv0 Of course you are correct, sir! I had a brain fart...

Great finds! Those in picture 1 are super cool.... creepy but really cool! I love chrome tremolite, too. I thought it is only available from NY. Glad you can get it other places because the NY stuff is buried under a highway now.
Have you used those blades before? They look really handy. Do you use them with a guard?

Nice haul Pat. Those eye agates are funky. Cool looking when polished up. I had to Google them because I've never heard of them before.

Going to set them in my Foredom and set the Foredom handle in the vise I showed in another thread --- Favorite tools. At this point, I plan on using them only for stones, so will need a water setup which I have for carving. Don't have a guard, but figure on using a face mask, eye protection (optivisor). Might decide I need a guard after I use them! I also figure they will be good as a trim saw for faceting. Haven't actually faceted yet. Every step I take opens up new steps. That's Ok. I get a faceting lesson from a local faceter this summer. Here is the Foredom vise. Will switch out the mandrel and insert mandrel with saw blade. IMG_1574 by Pat, on Flickr
