got three done a while back for my ever growing collection blue mtn this is a rare one its called cap stone from the ray mine this was collected in 1967 this one of the best ive cut from the 500lbs i imported from turkey Sage agate

Never heard of the Ray Mine capstone. Looks a lot like some of the Needles Blue. That's a very pretty piece of Blue Mountain, too!

Those overlapping orbs of the Blue Mtn sure make it tempting to call it a jasper. Do you have an opinion? I say this realizing that many things get called jasper that are not.

I have been cutting some Blue Mountain. Really enjoy working with it. It has silky smooth feel and polishes nice. I just slabbed some Needles Blue which comes from from the Blue Danube Mine in California. This is a cab from the end-cut. Your Ray Mine Capstone slab is wayyy nicer looking Nice cuts roy . Post more please
