I had a shippment delivered to the Fedex office in Palmdale CA on Sept 19th...it left LA on the 20th and was missing for 9 days untill it showed up in Ft. Worth on the 29th. It next showed up in some little town called Hutchins just outside of Dallas on the 29th. Hutchins is about 3 hours from me....next it shows up in Bryan TX at 5 am on the 30th where it sat until it was logged out on a delivery truck on Oct 3rd..which it did not get on the truck. They called me at 10 am on Oct 3rd and stated it just go to their wharehouse this morning and wanted to know about delivering it tomorrow. I tell ya...their tracking system does not work..we put a trace on the shippment and they never bothered tocall back...then they lie about when it arrived in town...never again will I use Fedex for shipping anything..

pho fedex sucks here too. the man knows our office doesn't open until 9:30 a.m. so he purposely comes at around 9:00 and sticks one of those missed you stickers on the door. then he rides my package around for weeks before he'll bring it back during office hours. mind you he is in my town all day long and it takes about 5 minutes to get from 1 side to the other. he passes us at least twice a day everyday. once i called him every day for a week trying to get my package, even offered to drive the whole 5 minutes to him and get it and he would not work with me. almost like he was enjoying keeping it from me. you should report it to the person/company that shipped something to you. maybe they could get reimbursement on the shipping and pass that along to you.
people from other areas seem to have really good luck with fedex and have complaints about ups. ups here is very efficient.

Why couldn't they call me Friday?...I tell ya....ya gotta deal with a lot of idiots now days. They just don't care....what ever happened to customer service?

customer service, what's that. No seriously you should e-mail or call FedEx and complain higher up, they are suppose to be on a bigger/better customer service push right now. It might do some good, it might not but if it was me, it would make me fell better.
Thanks for the info, FedEx is HQ in Dallas so their service is better than anything else here. DHL is trying to take business away from FedEx and UPS so I'm sure the would be happy to serve you in the future

I have found, Fed Ex, UPS, are really negligent unless, the order is either COD, or signature recuired. We mostly us UPS, and the distribution center knows us by sight! As soon as we get one of those sorry we missed you tickets on the door, we call, have the DC hold the order, and go get it. I watched an UPS driver unload his truck at a stop light, and turn into a Waffle House. When we went through the intersection again, most of the packages were missing. If no one had Signature Recquired on the manifest, too bad Charley. Remember that.

We usualy use UPS also as the driver knows us by name and sight. The person we got the "package" from used Fedex. We realy had no option on that one. We are also filing a complaint with Fedex tomorrow in writing with all the details and a printed copy of the so-called tracking page. Plus..the delivery driver had the thing on his damn truck today but would not deliver it...decided to wait until tomorrow. Well..when he shows up tomorrow..I will be ready for him. Might even be out there with my camera....

I'm going out on a limb here and say that their rate hike will be followed by all others. The reason will be fuel cost. Likewise, everything that is transported will soon go up in price if fuel cost stay where they are now.

Fedex Has independent contractors- some rock some suck- Our local guys are good- fast and curtious- same with our UPS guys- But I have heard horror stories about Fedex packages that ride around in trucks for WEEKS on end (happened to my sister on a High priced overnight package- took 3 weeks to deliver- Fedex ended up refunding the entire $75 shipping charge- but not with out a fight!) hmmm she lives in texas too- must be the state your in Pho- Hope you get em!

It's getting harder and harder to beat the Good Old USPS as of late! Between their flat rate boxes and the speed of Priority Express they really outshine the others.
I made the mistake of boxing up a pair of VW rear windows last week to ship to a guy in Hawaii. Went on line and fed in the box size and weight and paid for and printed out shipping label. Didn't take the time to look at it very close and zipped into town and dropped them at a UPS store. When I logged back into my UPS account so I could print out the tracking number to send the guy I saw that I paid $59 to ship them!!! That was $1 dollar more than I sold the windows to this guy for!! Wow!! I didn't do too well with that deal!!
Pays to do some looking around on shipping. I sure will double check on shipping before shipping out of the lower 48 states from now on! Take care, Bill
