Just thought I'd post this for future referance. Offbeat (Bill) and I had a trade deal. Rocks for Camera. I recieved his package today and was pleasantly suprised. I recieved some Kona Dolomite, Snowflake Obsidian, Bloodstone, Mexican Wonderstone, and Lace Agate. I thougt I'd just let everyone know, that Offbeat is a great guy, and very generous. This is for any questions other members may have for him as a trader in the future. Great, honest, generous, quick and friendly. Thanks again Bill! You the Man! Steve ;D

Thanks for the kind words, Steve! And right back at you!! The camera is just as described and was shown in the photo of it. The camera is just like new and came with all the goodies shown, it will be well used! And where else but on this board would you receive a box with photo gear and have a couple rock treasures included!! I am going to borrow your idea and have of few "treasures" handy to put in with all the items I mail out. Might just be enough to get some more rockhounds out and about! Thanks again, Steve!

There you go! You see it over and over, someone will ask a question and part of the answer is to join your local rock club. I did that this month and met a great bunch of people!
Even joined a class on silversmithing, my wife did too! Now I will pick up some knowledge and hopefully my wife and I will get to spend more time together in this learning experience. Two for one!!! Don't get much better than that!
I do believe that taking photos of my new interest might be a ways down the road! Unless I try to pass off some of my creations as art. I'll wait a while on that, Dick. Catch up to ya next Wed. at class!!
