i usually check both rth ,and brs sites but it isnot possible to reach bob,s of late , iknow that they have a lot of problems many complaints but what is going on ? hope the exorcise their demons and comeback. anyone know tell me pleasae. thank you , gemmaster

Bobs Rocks.....
I used to visit his site as well. It seems like the Spammers have taken their toll on his site. It's really too bad, as it used to be a great site with lots of friendlies! Oh well, now that I've found this place, this is "Home" to me. I've already met lots of great People on this board, and lots more info. I hope Bob can get his site back up and running....he needs to step in and start taking charge in moderating. Just my .02!

steve, same here this is a real nice group hope it doesnot go to hell the way brs did . will do all i can to contribute here making friends, doing trades,sharing information , etc. gemmaster

I did hear that a few of the users contacted some of the advertisers and complained. They had a few that would rather discuss political issues rather than rocks. One that claimed to be Bob's sister that really like to stir things up! Maybe Bob will show back up and get things under control again, that's what happens when a site doesn't have anyone looking after it. There were some great people over there, I hope they are lucky enough to know about this great site!

That's the right site, Terry. The only problem is the bulletin board reset back to the first of the year and you can't post or search it anymore, it's basically down. There were some very knowledgeable people that would drop in from time to time there, it's too bad a few wrecked it for the rest. I'm just glad I found this great site! Take care, Bill

that site been down for awhile now..
too bad it was a nice place, all cause of a few bad people, but I heard it was going to be up and running soon. just do not know the date.

I enjoyed going to that site, but one thing that bothered me was that any time someone would make a suggestion about how to perhaps improve it, some people would get very defensive. For example, one guy once asked why you just couldn't scroll down while reading the posts instead of having to go back each time. He got jumped all over for trying to "stir the pot." I thought it was a good idea, but was too afraid to agree with him. Overall it was a good website, and I hope it comes back up again.
