That was a piece aquired in a trade, We do find boulders in the local pits but mostly under a pound, the unusual ME was found in a pit and about a pound. The red ME material came directly out of an active iron mine which is not accesable to hunt. Mary Ellen occures in thick seams in the tacconite. They blast the material so finding chunks without fractures is a bonus. The person I trade with is a geologist and has access to the local mines, I have a miners certificate so this summer if we can coordinate he will take me to the sweet spot for mary ellen.
