12 sessions, 10 ID's(2 returned to my site) GOOGLE STALKING. No doubt, google stalks us. Our ID no.'s are being recorded on every bloody click. Holy cow. I can tell you if he is on desktop(rich people), mobile(gangbangers ha), pad. Or what state each ID is at, or city for that matter. Or their brand of computer or even their operating system or their search engine.

Chrome is most popular(7). Then Safari(3). Safari apps = iPhone Chrome and Safari is at desktop, so the longer 8 page views. Ha, Mac users had 0% bounce rate-excellent. Chrome has 42%, more accidental openings or disinterested viewers. Mac viewers with long 10 minute views.(based on one viewer, so number pool too small)

Above screen shots based on one day only. Way to small a sample. 12 sessions/10 viewers. Google Analytics does not start collecting data till you assign your website a tracking number(free).
PAID ADS !! There is a way to see where your people are coming from. A lady at the seminar was paying $600 a month in google ads only to be getting 3% of her traffic from paid ads. BEWARE. 50% of her traffic was organic searches. 25% was direct(people entering her website name).
My web person is waiting a month to get enough samples before she can perform SEO on my website. I assigned google analytics tracking number two days ago.

It never stops. It is not difficult to define the meanings of the statistics. They are mostly interrelated and must be considered in such manor. Once understood, they will give you a clear direction on what to modify on your website.

Like a "20 minute viewing" is a click and a kid squalling in the other room? Your entrepreneurial skills amaze me. Thanks for bringing me along.

I've checked in with the appropriate teams on this and they've confirmed this is a continuation of the spelling correction test I mentioned. Please know we're monitoring the results very closely, and will update the community if we decide to permanently implement anything. It's great that they are responding to you. I'm afraid for you that hearing Etsy say "if we decided to implement..." actually means "that plan is firmly cemented in place by 10 feet of concrete and ain't going NOWHERE anytime soon sucker!" Good that you have a workaround - both spellings. 2nd retort from Etsy-- "Hi again Jim, Thank you for staying in touch with me, and for filling out the survey. I also appreciate you sharing your answers and further thoughts with me! Regarding your question, I understand it's a bit odd that something would auto-correct to something that may be incorrect. That said, in this specific test, the focus is more on what is trending in the marketplace related to what buyers are searching. Nevertheless, I still went ahead and shared your feedback here with the appropriate teams once more. We'll keep your thoughts here in mind going forward! Thank you for supporting the Etsy Community, Jim. Cheers, Isabella"

The very fact that they are setting up an autocorrect that FORCES the modification is almost beyond comprehension and shows where their minds are at. Can you imagine if your phone texting did that? You'd smash the f-ing thing against the wall. Autocorrect is best used as a "suggestion" ... grrr...

I am continually impressed at the seemingly endless, perplexing, professional sounding, non-committal, verbiage passed off as an answer to a problem they have no intention of dealing with.
I wonder if Isabella is a recently unemployed Democratic spin artist.

Fire pits are bad for the planet ? To piss off both customer and supplier ? "That said, in this specific test, the focus is more on what is trending in the marketplace related to what buyers are searching." Think about the logic of that statement. SEO people are normally of high logic mindsets. Could/should that statement read: "We want to auto-correct your customers to buy something other than your product that you have loyally listed." How about 193 items sold and $6000 in Etsy fees 2016 and you want to reroute my customers using false grammar ?
