At 8:30pm and you are in sheer beauty At our back is a big sand dune and in front is a beautiful sunset on the 5th largest body of freshwater on the planet.

Unfortunately, I have to drive a little farther down the road to get an unspoiled view like that. Replace the sand dune with a basalt cliff and add a little salt to the drink and it looks like a sunset on the Bay of Fundy.
As serene as it looks in the photo, I bet storms can be nasty when they get to blowing off the big water.

The 'Gold Coast'. I worked at a power house in Port Sheldon several years ago. Sunsets were cool, the Friday night perch fries were the best I have ever been to.

Not the best picture, but less than a mile down the road from me is a bluff that overlooks Chattanooga Tennessee. After hard summer rain I shot this double rainbow using a cell phone. We have beautiful sunrises as this is a due east view. Unfortunately most of my sun rises are after I am already at work. But the few I get to see are spectacular. Can see the Smoky Mountains on the Tennessee / North Carolina border on a clear day. And of course it is hard to see a double rainbow and not think about this guy.
