Thanks Tela that means a lot coming from you. I do have some silver and I just bought 2 oz of square and 1 oz of half round from a jewelry supply store on the other side of town. My mom wants me to wrap a labradorite cab she bought at one of the rock shows a long time ago. I have so many copper skeletons in my scrap bowl....but I feel a little more confident now to try the silver. What do you do with melted silver?? (icon_think)

Good, I'm glad you're gonna start with some silver. Save your scraps- you send then to rio grande or where ever and get paid for it. They melt it down. Helps to pay for more silver.

Just torch an inch or two of it, and watch it curl up! Instant gratification! Fun, too.
