Howdy, I think if you'll go back to the heading page for this catagory and type Astro gallery into the search engine, you'll get a lot of info on this seller. I've only purchased from them a couple of times and was a bit disappointed in the quality of the merchandise fro the price and found the shipping costs pretty high....mel

I've purchased from them as well and the quality was ok. I got the brown zebra (good), the green zebra (ok, nothing spectacular) and some crazy lace (ho hum).

I ordered some obsidian and brown zebra agate from Astro Gallery, I was happy overall. The shipping was a couple of days longer than most but they were very nice and replied to every one of my emails. The rocks are very nice.

Look back through this forum over the last couple of years of post. Astro has been a "popular" topic. Some of the threads might interest you.
Have you ever noticed that all the items he sells are "super rare" "long gone" "AAAAAAAA+++++++ grade" "never to be seen again!" "get it while it last" ect...?

I've received four orders of rock from them so far, very happy with all four. I just ordered ten more pounds of the green zebra agate from them because I liked it so much. If this batch looks as good as the first, I'll probably end up with 3 or 4 more ten pound orders of that stuff!

Ordered from them once before and was happy. Tho' others are right and the shipping is pretty expensive. But they post it right up front, so if you don't like the shipping - don't bid. I'm using some of my Christmas money to buy several lots. Then I'll see how much they actually reduce the shipping.

Toad: I just won a double set of auctions from them and they happily combined my orders. It reduced shipping costs by about $9.00 on twenty pounds. That was pretty nice. I think the main reason they have higher shipping is they use UPS instead of the PO flat rater because they ship so much and UPS picks up at their place of business...mel

I have ordered from them 3 times, this last time was with that carnealian strawberry quarts, tree agate, and green fancy jasper. I called Mary the monday before X-mas and told her I needed it right away and she shipped it out that day with ups, I got it that thursday and with all 35lbs in one box, saved 23 dollars on the shipping cost. The blue quartz is comming from them and will be here tomorrow.

Got my last two auction wins yesterday. Material was very nice and I've bid on some more. Shipping was a bit slow probably because they use UPS and there were of course, the holidays. Overall, though, a very good experience...mel

Just received the 4 lots I bid on. Shipping was still expensive (about $1.24 a pound) but it was reduced 30% from shipping total of the individual auctions. Paid about $3.60 a pound including shipping for some really cool fantasy jasper, picasso jasper, orange aventurine, and sodalite. Cool stuff.
