Those are some good sized skips . Very nice . I like the blue tint most of those have . I polished a couple hands full last summer but the biggest was about 3/4 of an inch .

Pretty much a quartz ball in the center. The weird thing about them is the shape of the quartz crystal. Most popular theory is they were reheated by a comet impact or lava flow while they were still in matrix.
