Put in my order for a 33b Lortone and related supplies this afternoon. Spoke with Shawn. You all were right about him. He discouraged my buying some rough saying it was now nothing but what was left at the bottom of the barrel. Says a lot about him.
I told him heads bowed on the RTH board whenever his name was mentioned.

Well put Puppies!
Yeah...he sure is terrific. If you're looking for something ask him...even if it's not on the website, he may have it. He helped me out with finding a few things! You'll love the 33b Lortone!

I agree! Shawn will take the time to answer questions. He will also let you know if something is not worth getting. He will even tell you if you are getting a good deal from someone else, e-bay, private sale, etc.

I can only say, if you ever get the chance to meet him in real life, it's worth the effort. Shawn is a rockhead rockhound rock whatever in every way. Tells you stories about his roadside finds. These would be boulders that required recruiting friends and returning with heavy equipment to haul it away. He had some great finds this way! His back yard is full of incredible petrified logs. He knows everything about most any rock you show him. Going to see Shawn is a must on all western driving trips now.

I am impressed with the Rock Shed in general. I made an order the other day and they gave me a call because my address acted strange. I was real impressed that they took the initiative to do that.

I buy most of my stuff from Shawn, he's great!! He even gave me a "hook up" for being a repeat buyer.

Three cheers for Shaun and the Shed. Received my 2nd order from him while I was in the hospital and as usual everything was "sweet". Thanks to everyone for turning me on to The Rock Shed. Pete
